Stunning, beautiful AND scented! There is only one member of the hardy annual Platystemon plant genus and it is commonly referred to as Creamcups and goes by the latin name Platystemon californicus.
Cream Cups has green lanced shaped leaves and blooms in the spring/summer with yellow circular flowers. But what a show it gives when in full bloom! Hundreds of beautiful, scented flowers emerge to attract pollinators! Ideal garden placement is in border or edge where you can appreciate these cute 1" round flowers.
The seeds of Cream Cups should be sown outdoors either before the last frost of spring or towards the end of autumn. Once sown the seeds should be covered with soil. USDA zones 5 to 8.
