Clarkia Mix | Clarkia ssp. seeds
Clarkia Mix – California Native Wildflower Seeds.
This vibrant Clarkia Mix features a dazzling array of native California wildflowers from the Clarkia genus, collected from organically grown stock. The mix includes species and cultivars such as Clarkia amoena (Farewell to Spring), Clarkia unguiculata (Elegant Clarkia), and other visually striking forms displaying radiant pink, magenta, red, and white petals with distinctive splash or eye patterns.
Native to California’s grasslands and coastal regions, Clarkias are beloved for their ease of growth, long blooming period, and their ability to thrive in dry, disturbed soils. These annuals are perfect for wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, and pollinator patches. Best sown directly in fall or early spring, Clarkias reward gardeners with a profusion of blooms that light up the garden in late spring through early summer.
Grows best in full sun with well-drained soils, but tolerates clay and sandy conditions. An excellent choice for habitat gardens, attracting bees, butterflies, and other native pollinators.
